Once again, at EQE 2016, UK candidates performed very strongly in the European Qualifying Examinations.
In the Pre-examination, the pass rate for UK-resident candidates was 95% as against 72% for non-UK candidates.
Excluding ‘compensable fails’, the pass rates for UK and non-UK candidates in the main examination was as follows: Paper D, 77% versus 38%; Paper C, 56% v 38%; Paper B (MEL), 90% v 65%; Paper B (Chem) 87% v 51%; Paper A (MEL), 63% v 51%; and Paper A (Chem), 75% v 61%.
